About Me

I am a passionate and experienced Senior Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in creating, developing, and managing digital platforms for some of the biggest names and events in global sports. Currently, I work at Pulselive, where I bring innovative ideas to life, crafting high-quality digital experiences that captivate audiences worldwide.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to prominent projects for globally recognised names, including the Premier League, Saudi Pro League, Tennis TV and multiple Rugby and Cricket world cup websites.

In my role, I have developed strong expertise in steering the technical direction of complex projects, encouraging a collaborative learning environment, and tackling challenging technical issues. My focus has always been on creating digital solutions that enhance user engagement and deliver seamless experiences.

Outside of work, my passion is sport—particularly golf and football. I not only follow these sports but actively play both regularly. I have a golf handicap of 13, which I am continuously working to improve, and I enjoy playing football whenever I get the chance. As a lifelong fan and active participant, I bring a unique perspective to the products I build, ensuring they resonate with the end users. Being a fan first helps me understand user expectations and behaviours, foster emotional connections between the product and its audience, and drives my commitment to building exceptional digital platforms that elevate the fan experience.

Premier League

During my time as a Senior Engineer working on the Premier League website, I played a pivotal role in several high-profile projects. I oversaw the complete rebrand of the website, ensuring a modern, engaging, and user-friendly experience. I also led the development of the Hall of Fame feature, celebrating the league’s legendary players, and directed the creation of the Fan Team of the Season functionality, enabling fans to actively participate in the Premier League community. These projects showcased my ability to manage complex initiatives and deliver impactful digital experiences.

Saudi Pro League

I led the implementation of the Saudi Pro League’s web Single Sign-On (SSO) solution, enabling users to seamlessly access multiple digital platforms with a single account.

In addition, I intergrated a comprehensive preferences store, allowing users to save and manage their interests, and introduced advanced personalisation features to deliver tailored content and recommendations. These improvements not only simplified user access but also enhanced engagement by creating a more customised and interactive experience, helping the league strengthen its digital presence and better connect with its growing audience.

Tennis TV

I successfully led the implementation of the Tennis TV OTT website, delivering a high-performing platform that served as the foundation of the service’s digital experience. This involved close collaboration with third-party teams responsible for developing the accompanying TV and mobile applications to ensure consistency and a seamless user journey across all devices. I played a key role in aligning technical strategies, coordinating timelines, and integrating shared features, ensuring the website functioned as part of a unified ecosystem. By focusing on user experience and cross-platform cohesion, the project delivered a robust, user-friendly solution that met the demands of a global audience of tennis fans. This experience demonstrated my ability to manage complex technical projects while fostering strong collaboration with external partners.
